Hustle & Bustle was engaged to be part of the team who launched Dan Carter’s philanthropic mission and raise awareness of the recently launched DC10 Fund, its ambition, and its impact. It was game on.
Our approach
To launch the DC10 Fund, Carter returned to Eden Park to complete a 24-hour Kickathon, raising money for the dedicated fundraising platform in partnership with UNICEF Aotearoa New Zealand. We created a high-impact media relations programme and media conference moment that engaged media, sponsors, prospective donors and the Kiwi public in the fund’s mission and generated mass awareness around the Kickathon event. On-the-ground amplification took place over three key stages of the Kickathon - at kickoff, half-time and the final-whistle – to maximise primetime broadcast opportunities which included live television crosses and on-field radio interviews with top tier news channels, driving real time donations.
