The Project

During the busiest retail period of the year, Scentre Group engaged Hustle & Bustle to lead earned media for Westfield New Zealand. The objective was simple: keep Westfield front of mind throughout the Christmas season, drive share of voice, and support foot traffic across its destinations nationwide.

We positioned Westfield as the home of Christmas, generating excitement around festive activations and creating a steady drumbeat of media coverage throughout the holiday shopping period. Through a proactive media relations programme, we identified timely news hooks, developed compelling story angles, and secured consistent coverage across lifestyle, retail, and mainstream media.
